Seven Peaks
Students need to turn in permission slips and $10 to their SWELL teacher May 20 and 21 if they want to go to Lagoon. May 29 is the end of year activity at Seven Peaks. There will be a student faculty basketball game that morning along with other activities. The bus will leave at 10:30 p.m. and return to Dixon at 3 p.m.
Yearbooks still available
There are still about 50 yearbooks left for sale. If you haven't purchased one make sure to order yours before the last week of school. There are tons of great action shots. Yearbooks at $25 in the Main Office. Yearbooks will be handed out the morning of May 29, before Seven Peaks.
New student council
New student council officers were recently elected. Those officers are Meagan Ventura, Riley Walker, Nikki Laws, Ian Lehman and Michelle Isom. They are excited to plan for next year.
New Yearbook Editors
New yearbook editors have been selected for next year. They are Katie Andersen, Caleb Barton, Cam Casperson, Samanatha Madsen, Adam Robertson and Audrey Uhl.
Robertson gets award
Adam Robertson, a seventh grade student, was honored in Salt Lake City recently as part of the Letters for Literature competition. Over 400 letters were submitted state wide as student wrote to authors about books that had changed their lives and their views of the world.
